The PLACE OF EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY IN THE TRAINING PROCESS

This experience report aims to analyze some notes regarding the relevance of the place of Educational Psychology in the teacher training process as an intellectual in the transmission of school culture. From the teaching experience in the Psychology of Education discipline, the basic question would be: what is the role of Educational Psychology in thinking about teaching and learning in the school field? The referred theme is justified by the fact that the formative aspect becomes relevant, since the transmission of concepts that allow the subject to critically interpret the reality. The method used for the construction of this study has, as an investigative proposition, the hermeneutics guided in the field of critical theory to analyze the meaning of Educational Psychology and the formative processes. It is concluded that Educational Psychology can present itself as the way the subject guides his educational activity from the reflections of the school field and, primarily, to reflect on the issues of teaching and learning in the classroom.
