Interdisciplinarity, health and work: an analysis of publications in scientific bases

This is a survey to identify scientifically the productions that address the interrelationship interdisciplinary, health and work. Interdisciplinarity appears as a variable that combines knowledge from various sciences that act on the same object. The field of Occupational Health has emerged characterized by interdisciplinarity, focusing on the processes of health and illness of the employee from their multiple determinations; a different perspective of Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health. A survey in the databases IBICT and Scielo using the keywords: "Interdisciplinarity and Occupational Health", "Interdisciplinarity and Health worker" and "Interdisciplinary, Health and Work." We found 56 articles, and abstracts of the 39 analyzed. It was found that the yields were from the area of health and as categories of analysis: Vocational Training, Occupational Health, Interdisciplinary Training in Public Health and Lecturer. Included 18 qualitative studies, 12 quantitative, qualitative and 7 quantitative and two theoretical studies. The abstracts describe the interdisciplinary process as essential to professional practice. It was concluded that most studies is categorical about the need for health professionals to expand their horizons by the complexity of their objects of study, practice and the reality in which it is inserted, requiring a look plural.Metrics
