Research in the field of education inspires increasing interest, as its development constantly highlights new problems and challenges that must be faced in order to respond to the inequality of which the educational system is part. These new problems and challenges also require new methods. The article precisely develops an explanation of the problem concerning the adoption of digital social networks as a source of information to prepare analyzes that take into account the way in which teachers see their professional development, working conditions and, in general, their quality of life affected, as a result of political cycles marked by neoliberalism in Latin America.
