Abstract

This article has as general objective to present the means of proof in the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) for granting rural retirement by age. And as specific objectives it is expected to discuss the importance of evidence in Social Security Law; contextualize the concept of rural retirement by age and the legislation and; To make a comparison of how social protection works for rural workers in other countries. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study. In which bibliographic research of articles published on rural retirement, captured on the SciELO and Google Scholar platforms, in the last ten years (2013-2023) was carried out. The means of proof in the INSS for the granting of rural retirement by age involve documents such as union declarations, lease agreements, invoices for the sale of agricultural products, among others. In addition, it is necessary to present personal documents and other evidence that demonstrate the effective exercise of the rural activity by the applicant.
