possible methodologies for the Integral Education and for the development of socioemotional competences applied to Sociology Teaching area

This article aims to analyze how new methodologies can help the Integral Education in the development of socioemotional competences. In order to do so, it seeks to analyze, from a methodological approach based in a theorical review, the concept of Integral Education, and its main elements. Subsequently, it identifies the concept of socioemotional competences in the National Common Curriculum used in brazilian schools. From this, two methodologies that can be adapted to be used in Integral Education are presented: Design Thinking and Design Sprint. The purpose of this article is to verify, through the analysis of the applicability of these two methodologies, how then require and develop socioemotional competences in Sociology Teaching area. The paper ends with the cross-checking of data that demonstrate how these new methodologies, in fact, help the Integral Education to develop socioemotional competences.
