The social role assumed by the procreative activity and fruition of maternity follows dialectically the movement and societal transformations. That means that it doesn’t have a static mold and has multiple determinations. It is under the regency of sexual division of labour and patriarchal capitalism that women are made responsible by social reproduction, domestic work and procreation of social beings. This means that maternity alters their day to day, their priorities and work hours, even on private matters. The present article, product of bibliographical research, proposes the analyze critically the limits and possibilities of fruition of maternity on the context of domination and inequalities between men and women in times of forwarding conservantism.
