The information society is going through a process of reframing what it expects from its economy, thus creating new business models, such as businesses with social and environmental impact that can be defined briefly as businesses that aim to bring positive social impact and achieve financial sustainability. This article presents the journey of implementation of the NISA project, which has been taking place since 2018, in Alagoas, through Sebrae, against the backdrop of all the socioeconomic characteristics of the territory, and with the objective of promoting the creation and development of these new business models so that they can contribute to transforming the reality of the population of classes C, D and E. For it, an exploratory research was carried out, using a bibliographic and documental analysis in order to group the information available about the project. In this way, the first steps towards the formation of a future ecosystem of impact from Alagoas can be seen, identifying the first initiatives, their impacts, the setbacks and opportunities for improvement for the future.
