THE LEADER'S ROLE TO DEVELOP A HIGH PERFORMANCE TEAM

The way of managing people and processes in organizations has undergone intense and diverse changes in Contemporary times, especially after the pandemic caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus. A trend is underlined: the emergence of new ways of conducting business in order to reduce costs, achieve excellence, increase quality and maximize results. The preparation of a leader is a sine qua non tool to keep an organization's mission, vision and values aligned, in times of intense change. Companies that know the positive impact of the leader value it in the company's strategy. Within this context, this article aims to expose how to develop a high-performance team, an environment in which the leader, a key role in the team, performs inclusive leadership. In light of this, this article also makes a bibliographic tour in order to analyze the role of the leader in organizations and the development of the high-performance team, emphasizing it as a factor that promotes the growth of a new culture in organizations. Thus, it appears that this attitude favors the dissemination of information and provides the freedom for the active participation of the followers, not only in the execution of activities, but also in the most relevant definitions such as decision making, aware of the importance of their collaboration for the result of the team converging in encouraging the diversity of members and the harmony of the group with the establishment of joint processes to resolve and solve problems.
