The Book Clues from the cartography method: Research-intervention and production of subjectivity organized by Eduardo Passos, Virgínia Kastrup and Liliana da Escóssia is a 207-page work, in eight chapters called “Pistas” that are structured in the format of a collection of articles , the result of research produced by professors from the Department of Psychology at the Universidade Federal Fluminense and from the Institute of Psychology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro guided by the theoretical foundations of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari from the work Os Mil Platôs published in 1995. a methodological dialogue that discusses the gaps in quantitative and qualitative research, since both can constitute cartographic practices, as long as they guarantee process monitoring. And at this point we have the main foundation on research based on the method of social cartography, that is, the process of investigation guided by an equally procedural method. The perspective of the work is not to define rules or protocols for methodological steps of research, it brings several studies that present clues to the understanding of social cartography that respects the specificities of authorship and the different contexts of investigations. Finally, his articles provide an opportunity to understand the expression of the method in practice with theoretical articulation of research-intervention, understanding that they express important parameters for everyone who wants to understand the cartographic method and develop research in this methodological foundation, as researchers, teachers and students of undergraduate and graduate courses in the various areas involved with the social sciences.Metrics
