Abstract

This article discusses the theme of nursery rhymes in times considered high modernity. Focuses on the rhymes, as cultural practices resignified current social time. To perform such reflections became references for the works of Anthony Giddens; Berger and Luckman, Renato Ortiz; Chamber Krab and Jurado Son and the related reference works and other researchers. The reference announced enable an understanding of high modernity and its consequences on cultural practices such as nursery rhymes, which constitute spaces of socialization.
