Abstract

Meu esporte favorito é olhar estantes, refazer viagens.

Que impressão me causou, lá por 1950, aos nove anos, O Minotauro, de Monteiro Lobato? É uma história engenhosa.

Confusão na festa de casamento de Branca de Neve. A boa preta Nastácia, atarefada na cozinha do palácio, se perde. Para encontrá-la, a turma do Pica-pau Amarelo parte para a Grécia, onde receberá inestimáveis lições de filosofia e política. Chegam no instante em que o Minotauro, tourão de corpo humano, se farta com os bolinhos da preta. Seduzido pelo estômago, gordo com três papadas, adiava a hora de devorá-la.

-  Sim, você está salva, Nastácia, e vai voltar para o Pica-pau, e vai continuar por toda a vida a fazer bolinhos para nós. Vê como é bom saber fazer uma coisa bem feita?,  arremata Emília. (...) [1]

Author Biography

Marisa Lajolo, Universidade Mackensie

Marisa Lajolo tem Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Letras (Universidade de São Paulo ,1967), Mestrado (USP, Teoria Literária e Literatura Comparada, 1975), Doutorado ( USP,Teoria Literária e Literatura Comparada, 1980) sob orientação de Antonio Candido. Tem Pós Doutorado ( Brown University ), e realizou inúmeros estágios de pesquisa na Biblioteca Nacional de Lisboa, na Biblioteca Saint Genevieve (Paris) e na John Carter Brown Library . É atualmente Professora da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie ( graduação e pós graduação, Letras ) e mantém vínculo como Professor colaborador voluntário na UNICAMP. Suas atuais linhas de pesquisa recobrem interesse por Teoria Literária e Literatura Brasileira, atuando principalmente nas áreas de história da leitura , literatura infantil e/ou juvenil e Monteiro Lobato. É Bolsista Senior (1A) do CNPq e o livro que organizou " Monteiro Lobato livro a livro: obra infantil" (IMESP, EdUNESP) recebeu o prêmio Jabuti " Livro do Ano não ficção" em 2009. Seu livro " Gonçalves Dias: o poeta do exílio" (FTD, 2011) recebeu. prêmio da Academia Brasileira de Letras. Em 2014 assumiu a curadoria do Prêmio Jabuti e em 2015 foi eleita para a Academia Paulista de Educação
